Many leftists/liberals (and unfortunately a few Objectivists also) are claiming that Donald Trump is wrong in talking about "Fake News".

When I read Leonard Peikoff’s 'Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand' (OPAR) a few years ago, I was impressed by his exposition of Ayn Rand’s philosophy.

I have a confession to make. For two years I was an Orthodox Objectivist.

On any usual day, I used to make nice and reverent comments in the social media about some Objectivist God or demigod (I will reveal later in the article who the Gods and the demigods are). I was a member of the “Orthodox brigade” on FB—we used to “like” each other’s nice and reverent posts and leave complimentary comments.

There was a time when I used to vehemently reject the idea that the cult of “Orthodox Objectivists” could ever exist.

Soon after I became active in the FB Objectivist circles about 3-years ago, I realized that Ayn Rand’s philosophy of reason has transmogrified into a system of revelation. Many Objectivists believe that Rand is their first God, her intellectual heir Dr. Leonard Peikoff is their second God, and the intellectuals endorsed by Dr. Peikoff are their myriad demigods.
