"Morality shouldn't be legislated" is an easy assertion to make if you have few or no morals.

I see slavery mentioned occasionally as though it is necessarily a bad thing but there is nothing wrong with slavery itself.

1. A sense of logical right and wrong.
2. A sense of moral right and wrong.

In another thread the term "abortion rights" was used. Abortion is a big topic so I am starting this thread rather than hi-jacking the other.

I'm not good at focusing on more than one thing so I am going to ignore solopassion for a while. I am going to get on with achieving my goals (world domination, cleaning the dishes, etc).

Objective - To define the "hierarchy of knowledge" that objectivists have and identify assumptions and gaps (if any) in the process. It would be good to get to the stage where everything prior to, and the basis for, ethics is defined.

While the search for information regarding libertarianism has been easy and provided many concise facts the search for information on objectivism has only yielded information that is verbose, statements of the obvious, straw man arguments, meaningless rants, subtle error and disagreements.
