I just posted this on Landon's thread on the front page:

We very much want to see those positions filled, and actively filled. Folk are always welcome to volunteer for regional coordinator positions. They should contact Jason. Regarding SOLO Romance Coordinator, I see on another thread a certain someone is itching to step up & give the position an edge. I'm all for it. He should consider it done. Jason's due to do a monthly update shortly, once he's over his jet-lag. Watch that space.

...has seen its better days, to be sure.  Activity started dropping off sharply after the Atlasphere came online a few years ago.  We did have at least 3 reported marriages from people who met on the site, so I'm happy, even if the Objectivist Singles heydey is over  :)  Maybe I'll petition the SOLO folks to let me take over the Romance department in here.  I've got plenty of experience!

Maybe I'm at a geographical disadvantage, because up in the Michigan and NW Ohio areas, there are very few promising/matching ladies' profiles on the Atlasphere site. Hardly any even have filled-out profiles to begin with.

I signed up with the Objectivist Singles site on MSN, but activity seemed quite low there and I don't recall seeing profiles that you could fill out like at Atlasphere.

Of course, Kelly, if you have any *immediate* needs then feel free to contact me directly. My powers are considerable and even from this distance I'm sure I can work wonders

I still consider the love affair I had with a fellow SOLOist to be the *Romance of the Century* - even though we did break up it was an amicable split leading to a wonderful friendship. We had a brilliant time together - it was an adventure, tremendously exciting, and a meeting of the minds like no other I have ever known. And it lasted long enough for me to enjoy romantic NYC in all four seasons.

There is SOLO Romance, still, but its biggest claims to fame were Marcus and Jennifer and Michael and Katdaddy. For wildly differing reasons, we're trying to keep both of those quiet!!

Yeah, Dan runs Objectivist Singles. It's kind of inactive, though.

And I haven't had much luck on Atlassphere. The few dates I've had from there have been with guys who are Ayn Rand fans, but not really Objectivists. I did meet one nice guy who I don't want to date, but who has become a friend.

I was really just wondering if there was a place to see who on SOLO is looking for a mate.
