I'm new to Objectivism, but I was shown this article on another forum, and I'm wondering if you all have seen this:

Well, hi, Amy, welcome to
Well, hi, Amy, welcome to SOLO.
Although I had to delouse after reading Mr Reasoner's Letter to The Apostles, I am able to tell you that he confuses egoism with egotism. He also sees a false contradiction between the ego and the perception of reality. He offers no proof that one is incompatible with the other. He simply asserts... and continues to grind his axe. My, how it must shine by now; a bright and pretty thing.
I'd suggest you read the posts and comments here on SOLO and then decide for yourself if we are as debauched as Reasoner asserts.
Nice to see they've got a new hat graphic, though.
Hi Amy
Hi Amy, and welcome. What's the theme of the article exactly? I had a look at it but I'd rather see what you're thinking rather then go off on an unhelpful tangent.
The basic requirement for Objectivism is to think for yourself. No one but you can find your answers but Ayn Rand is one hell of a great guide if that's what you want.
Cheers
