While antifa and other radical leftists are tearing down our monuments... Ayn Rand Institute, Obleftivist in charge Yaron Brook, tells us that Robert E. Lee must come down from our city squares.

Ob-LEFT-ivist sides with the LEFT on yet another matter. Are you surprised?

Here's my response...

It's time to repudiate Obleftivism!

MAKE OBJECTIVISM GREAT AGAIN! MOGA!!

Great Video

Lindsay's 8-minute video above is passionate and great! No matter how false and evil the viewpoint of some radical, crazy Rightist or Leftist, they have a right to speak freely and without being attacked. But the unadmitted truth is: Right-wing, white racist, and fascist speakers are far more threatened today in America than left-wing, black racist, and communist speakers. Protecting free speech for all is paramount and the best way for Good to triumph over Evil.

The truth

Worth spending 8 minutes listening to this guy recount what really happened. You certainly won't hear it fwom Yawon:

"I Wish I Was in the Land of Cotton..."

Good points, Lindsay and Neil!

If Brooky-boy (hope that's not disrespectful! Eye ) really wants the Confederate statues to come down, I'd like to hear him say it, if anyone can provide the link.

I now consider Brook and his rather mindless, soulless drones to be in some sense Obleftivists -- a term I'm still a touch dubious about. But I also find those cultist ARI clowns to be Obrightivist too. Mostly I find them disappointingly illiberal -- my term and concept which still seems very superior to me.

ARIans are illiberal in that they don't hunger for truth, as I do; or fearlessly and boldly seek it out, as I do. They're rather smug, limited, intellectually lazy, and spiritually submissive creatures who act somewhat like zombies and robots. They lack Ayn Rand's dynamic, heroic spirit. ARIans are very content and self-satisfied in their petty views and dogmatic opinions, and they don't seek to ascend to something and somewhere higher and better. They lack proper ambition and a noble desire for greatness.

If they dispute this, let them come to SOLO Passion and debate us, or let us go where they are to decently converse!

The Buddha

Neil Parille's picture

If Buddha had slaves would Yaron support the Taliban destroying the statues of the Enlightened One in Afghanistan?

And the US Capitol recognizes law givers who were slave holders:

And I imagine there are a bunch of statutes in Israel that praise slave holders such as Abraham and Moses.

Bwook-Filth

Lindsay Perigo's picture

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”—George Orwell, 1984

Hewe are some of the mindless vermin to whom Bwook is pandewing with his wepugnant Obleftivism:

Down with ARISIS! To Iwan with Bwook! To Hell with Obleftivism! MOGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: I gather there are barracks at West Point named after Robert E. Lee. Does Bwook want them wenamed? Is he going to demand the teawing down of Washington and Jefferson statues? Their wemoval fwom Mount Wushmore? Should Washington DC be wenamed?

And if destwoying histowic icons a la the Taliban is such a good idea, why was Bwook not pwomoting it before the Fascists of the Left started to?!

VERY important not to support ARISIS financially and to denounce it vociferously. It has well and truly become part of The Filth. Bravo Bruno ancora!

Yaron Brook Stomps on America's History and Spirit

Kyrel Zantonavitch's picture

This is impressionistic but: Taking down those Dixie hero statues feels like surrendering to black racism, political-correctness/multiculturalism, anti-Americanism, and anti-Westernism. It seems to be an attack upon America's history and spirit. What next -- taking down the statues of the slave-owners Madison, Jefferson, and Washington? Maybe Aristotle too, who defended slavery.

In almost every sense, Robert Lee and Dixie were fighting for independence -- not slavery. We should note that the North favored heavy regulation of business and import tariffs, which hurt the South, and there were cultural differences between the two as well. So independence wasn't necessarily a bad idea. And it was their right. It still is.

Everyone hates slavery. But it was dying out in 1861, when the Civil War began. The last Western country to have slavery was Brasil in 1888. The Confederacy probably would have outlawed it before then.
