I've noticed with a lot of recent departures there are several groups in need of proper leadership. I'm wondering if SOLO management (Linz, Jason, Andrew etc...) thinks these positions are still necessary and would like to see them filled with people capable of competently leading discussions, or thinks the forums are just best left alone as is. I personally think good topical group leaders are a great thing to have because it keeps discussion on different topics fresh and intense, that and people in need of being lead in the right dirrection for further study have a good idea of a single person whom they can direct comments to. Some good examples I've seen on this site (and SOLOhq) were food leaders Jennifer & Ciro as food leader (in spite of any current issues I may have with the man), music leader Joe, and Science leader Marcus and solo homo leader Ashley. This is a component of this site I would really like to see shine once again. Just a thought that's been on my mind for a while and I thought I'd put it out there for discussion. ---Landon

Is there anyone running the SOLO Food board? (No, this is not my subtle way of saying "I'll do it!") I can't take that on, but I'm happy to answer questions when I can if anyone posts them.
The incumbent doesn't seem to be too entranced with SOLO right now. Wants to cut our tongues out. Is that for a special dish?
Looks like it's you, Regina. You could do as much or as little as you wanted, in addition to answering questions. And link to GF as often as you wanted.
Anyway, no one else would dare do that job with you around.

We very much want to see those positions filled, and actively filled. Folk are always welcome to volunteer for regional coordinator positions. They should contact Jason. Regarding SOLO Romance Coordinator, I see on another thread a certain someone is itching to step up & give the position an edge. I'm all for it. He should consider it done.
Jason's due to do a monthly update shortly, once he's over his jet-lag. Watch that space.
