Most of life is an unending, ferocious, private battle between good and evil. It's a fight for life over death; pleasure over pain; happiness over misery. We sentient creatures attempt to massively exploit the mysterious, wondrous, awesome gift of life. And so we continuously struggle to work hard, think well, feel deeply, experience richly, and accomplish magnificent things.

We try to be productive. To be innovative and creative. To maximize our potential. To realize our fate.

We try to achieve personal greatness. And to be marvelous, wonderful, powerful, stunning, beautiful, and sublime.

This isn't easy. By the nature of life and the universe, it never can be. But all the effort is worth it. Life is only temporary, but it's glorious. It's filled with immense possibilities of meaning, importance, nobility, heroism, and magnificence.

So it's very much worth while to utilize your life to accomplish something difficult but tremendous. It's very much your job, and worth any agony and heartbreak, to be a truly amazing person and achieve huge amounts of living greatness.
