CNN's War on free speech: All differing speech is "disinformation"![]() Submitted by Graham Hill on Mon, 2020-11-30 20:58
CNN continue its war on free speech galvanised by a possible Biden White House. Professor Turley's Blog has this post:
See: One can surmise that all "hate speech" (however that is defined by the victimologists) has the possibility of being defined as 'disinformation' under this view as well. Douglas Murray has an excellent piece in Unherd detailing the victimologists modus operandi to censorship. He writes on Random House-Penguin's Canadian staff have had a meltdown with fears and tears over Jordan Peterson's new book, the sequel to 12 Rules, and yet to be published. The New Zealand Law Society's publication Law Talk, in a CNN moment, had a prohibition on citations to Dr Peterson (so relying upon some lawyers to protect this right does not seem hopeful) and we also recall Whitcoulls was not going to stock the first book. Anyway, Douglas Murray in his typically lucid manner (apologies for the quotes but he says it best) says this:
One could add to the last cited paragraph what is also needed is a reassertion of the Apollonian mindset, and eye, and less of the Dionysian per Camille Paglia. Now we have clearly laid bare the details of one the most pernicious MO's driving hate speech and anti-free speech. Article Link: https://unherd.com/2020/11/jor...
