Sean Hannity and ARI and Global WarmingSubmitted by Marnee on Fri, 2006-09-01 20:36.
I just got word that today, Sean Hannity, on his radio show, quoted at length from an ARI (!) press release on Global Warming, adding: "Finally, someone got it right." (Or something like that.) Nice. (Anyone else catch his show, today?)

Hannity
I'm shocked that he was able to read through the press release without using his finger. I'd also be willing to bet that he only read it on the air because he knew, vaguely, that it was against the notion of global warming and the government's actions on that front. But the man's an intellectual featherweight whose most profound decision every day is which prefabricated right-wing opinion he's going to hack up on that particular day.
Four other words
Oh, I think there are maybe four other words that anti-immigrationist conservatives are capable of stringing together:
"They took our jooobs!"
--South Park
May their god damn them
A friend and I have a quiet bet that when the TV channel changes to BBC World then it'll be no more than ten minutes before there's a reference to global warming. And on Fox, now, no more than ten minutes before you hear the words "God" and "illegals."
As James Kilbourne said back when he still seemed rational, “God damn you if the only two words you can find to put together when talking about people who leave their homelands to seek a better life for themselves and their families are ‘illegal aliens'."
Praising Ayn Rand Institute, but what about Ayn Rand?
I'm impressed that Sean Hannity praised the Ayn Rand Institute. I would be even more impressed if Hannity followed the example of his friend Rush Limbaugh and admitted that Atlas Shrugged is a great book.
I shouldn't get my hopes up. Landon is right.
Today's conservatives seem more concerned about keeping Mexicans out of the United States(ostensibly so they won't take all the government funding) than on cutting off government funding and welfare so that nobody -- native-born or otherwise -- could receive them to begin with.
Hanity?
A rare and amazing treat. If only Ann Coulter could now retract a statement to correct that it WAS just Reagan's penchant for capitalism that managed to bring down the soviet union.
I'll try not to wish too hard conservatives so rarely do anything worth celebrating anymore.
---Landon
Inking is sexy.
