I'm very partial to a good rhyme

Dan, I'd love to let you read some of my poetry sometime. I haven't written a whole lot, but I think what I have is pretty good. What is slam poetry?

But, I won't be reading mine at the conference (welll, maybe one or two just for fun). I'll be reading some of the best poems ever written. I'm dying to spread the word around the world (especially the Objectivist world) about how much great poetry there is to enjoy.

Any chance you'll be there?

I'd love to hear you poetry.  Ya know, I was a slam poet myself back in the day.  I was (debatably) the most loved white slam poet in all of South Carolina!  We'll have to compare notes some time 

As much as I do like exotic accents, the gender barrier would probably be a deal-breaker.

(Unless you meant marry me to someone else, in a minister-like capacity. I would of course have to audit the prospective dowry before committing to anything.)

And Michael—you'll be most welcome, even if I have to save your soul the same way.

Lindsay is letting me give a reading (choosing art and stuff) and he knows I am a hiphop dancing fool! Nobody's wrongs can equal that!

As much as I hate to nudge a joke, I can't figure out which of three or four possible punchlines you mean to imply.

(If your next response is, "It wasn't a joke." then maybe I'll just have to wish you guys a good time in San Diego from afar.)

BTW, am I allowed to go even go to this shindig, given how I sanction evil and all? I've seen Lindsay pound a table for dramatic emphasis and fear for my head.

It's slightly Catch 22. The cost per person will be affected by the numbers attending. But we'll have ballpark stuff asap. It's already looking very reasonable.
