Webmeisters How about an option to receive email notifications of replies to threads that we start or replies to posts we have made? Lots of forums do this and it's a good way to stay up to date if you don't have time to troll through your own posts.

I may be doing the authors of said module a disservice, but when they have comments on their page like "we couldn't work out how to use CVS tags" I think "no way am I having your code on my site".
At any rate, I haven't given up - I'll keep you posted as events unfold ...

Dunc, if you could undodge it's doggyness it would be really great. Knowing that you've got replies to posts or threads saves an awful lot of trolling.
There is a module to do
There is a module to do this, but it looks a bit dodgy. In the meantime, I've added a module that allows daily notification of new content by email.
I'll post another FAQ detailing how to enable said notifications shortly - just as soon as I've let a day go past & verified with my own eyes that it actually works
