Victor BorgeSubmitted by Daniel Walden on Sun, 2006-12-17 01:54.
Anyone else hear ever heard of Victor Borge? What are people's thoughts on him? Personally, he's one of the damn funniest musicians I've ever seen. His heavily music-based comedic repertoire always sends me into hysterics. Here is a link to one of his best performances. Opera lovers in particular should appreciate this one

Yes, Borge was wonderful...
...but he has a modern equivalent, who while not as accomplished is still a breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, his name escapes me... but he's British and he does an hilarious send up of the sometimes pretentious classical music scene, especially from a beginner's perspective.
Anyone know his name?
Boy, that takes me back.
