You have a most peculiar view of the facts associated with the "illegal war" in Iraq.

If, as you claim, this was simply a continuation of the "Gulf War", could you please explain the following:
Why did King George go to Congress and get "permission" to attack Iraq? (with FAKE evidence)

Why did the US go to the UN and request a resolution, which would "legitamise" their intention to attack Iraq?

What did Powell mean when he publically stated that "Saddam does not possess the means to threaten his neighbours"?

What did Condi Rice mean when she too stated that "Sanctions have worked, Iraq is unable to attack it's neighbours, even on a "conventional" basis"?

Please don't tell me that "things changed" a few months later
and "suddenly" Saddam had gone on a shopping trip to "Nukes-R-Us".

If the UN and International Law is so "bogus" why did/do the US Government insist that Saddam (Iran) was/is in breach of dictates by both.
Further, why is it that both these Institutions are demeaned by the two countries, in particular, who stand accused and "convicted" of massive breaches, to be "bogus".

"You can't have your cake and eat it". (Unless you are the US or Israeli Govt., of course. Israel has given the "finger" to over SIXTY UN resolutions, but never mind, they did suffer sixty years ago, at the hands of the Palestinians, oops, Germans I mean.)

kevin how the hell is this an illegal war,im fed up with morons using that one.First theere basically is no international law in reality and the UN is just a bunch of anti american dictators.Even by that bogus assertion that the UN is the font of goodness and international law the Iraq war is legal.After the first gulf war which was endorsed by a UN resolution a cease fire was signed.A cease fire is not the termanation of hostilities like a surrender but a ceasation of military action on the previso that certian conditions are met.
Any breaking of the cease fire agreement by Saddam Hussein is justification to continue military action to remove him.
Saddam began breaking the cease fire agreement within one month of the end of the first gulf war therefore the second gulf war is just a continuation of the first.

The weapons inspectors were in Iraq and were ordered out by the US because they were going to begin their "official" attack.
The inspectors were harassed by the Iraqis but this was hardly a reason to kill them in the hundreds of thousands.

Do both of us a favour, go read other than the crap you obviously hav been reading and then return with some balanced, logical, origional statements, rather than the one-sided rubbish you simply "link" to.
