I’m leaving on Friday morning to play poker in Laughlin and Las Vegas. Laughlin is a small town on the Colorado river that has a few casinos with poker rooms. I'll play there Friday and Saturday and move on to Vegas Sunday. In addition to regular cash games I will be playing in the World Series of Poker Senior Championship. The senior event starts Monday and runs through Wednesday.

I am staying at the Rio which is the venue for the WSOP. Multiple tournaments will be going on and there is a large expo.

I’ve been spending more time playing and studying poker for the past few weeks than I have writing. My promised posts will be delayed until some time in mid-July. I think I’ll do some writing when I come back, but delay posting until after both The Atlas Society Summer Seminar, and the Ayn Rand Institute’s OCON event. I’m not attending either. I wanted to go to OCON, but am extremely physically uncomfortable at high altitude. I might have attended SOLOC if it had been on Labor Day weekend, but have a conflict at the scheduled time.
