Long Live Hillary!
It's nauseating to think, but it looks like Slick Hilly is going to get the nomination. But at least I take comfort in the fact that she really deserves this because she's better than all of us. And she's really entitled. She should have been prez 12 or 16 years ago! Some people are truly born to rule. Just ask her! I imagine she'll shove a lot of stuff down our throats -- but it'll be for our own good. You can't argue with that! Some say Saint Hillary hasn't had a single new political thought since the '60s. But why should she? She figured it all out long ago! And that early flirtation of hers with the ideas of Ayn Rand did her loads of good! It's not like she's some sort of unprincipled, repellant, sleezy, mindless, power-hungry, holier-than-thou, vindictive, malicious, socialist dolt!

Let's not kid ourselves, the Democratic ticket will be Clinton and Obama. It will happen.
It will
not be Hillary Clinton.
She has various historical parallels with Robert Kennedy...
White House insider when a close family member was President, Senator from New York (despite being lucky enough to locate it on a map), a truckload of enemies, dysfunctional family, adultery etc etc
Her enemies are like Robert Kennedy's enemies in the sense that they are not irrational nutters ringing radio talkback hosts but somewhat more 'proactive'...
(there are some things which will never, never, never be allowed to happen)
It will be Hilary. Her
It will be Hilary. Her power is more insidious than we shall ever truly know.

The truest altruist kook was the clear winner; Kommunist Kucinich.
Ask someone who cares!
They're all scum.

...I've added Gore (and Kerry) to the list and added your vote to his tally.

I expect Al Gore to be the candidate.
He will face Fred Thompson for a rather surreal "Tennessee's Greatest Export To The World Since FedEx And Elvis" showdown, the result of which will be highly entertaining to watch.
My money would be on Fred Thompson, who at least has a bit of common sense, because far more people watch his television show than went to Al Gore's movie.
