"Turnaround" not necessarily a bad thing…
Often these sorts of projects get snapped up by cable networks who have been known to make some great silk purses. If a company like HBO ("It's not TV. It's HBO.") could get their hands on it and make it into a 13 parter it could be the best result of all.
However, I reckon they should remake "The Fountainhead" first... maybe with Brad as Roark and Angelina as Dominque if they're so keen to do Ayn (not that they would be my first picks, but you could do a lot worse!). That way you get the great unwashed primed with the themes of individuality and the virtue of selfishness before moving on to the grand opus.
IMGO I think that's a brilliant strategy!

At least ypu can read screenplay. And maybe we don't need any movie, just watch news and read newspapers.
The movie appears to be in big trouble
The Atlasphere blog says that it is in "turnaround" status, i.e. the producers are trying to sell it on.
