Inaugural SOLO NZ MeetingSubmitted by Duncan Bayne on Sat, 2006-01-07 09:03.
My first task as SOLO NZ coordinator is to announce a meeting in Auckland, at 1900 on Friday 13th January. The venue will be Ken Riddle's house at 45A View Road, Mt. Eden, Auckland. Lindsay and Tim will be there as well, and we'll be discussing plans for SOLOC 4.5. It promises to be a monumentous event in the history of SOLO - I hope to see you there! (If you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my mobile - 027 253 6395).

Reminder!
I am moving to Sydney on Monday, Sturm is going back to the UK tomorrow and Linz is up here in Auckland. To celebrate, there will be a BBQ this Friday evening at Ken's place (45a View Road, Mt Eden, opposite Horoeka Ave).
BYO and a decent plate, not just bloody packets of chips (by request, Carol Potts).
Map is here: http://wises.co.nz/map/default.asp?id=51489|2&svctype=1&zoomin=true&move=true
Kinda ...
... most of the people meeting on Friday will have already met at similar social events, but this is the first Official SOLO NZ Meetup (TM).
Inaugural?
Surely it's one of a long history of SOLO NZ meetings, rather than an inaugural meeting?
I'm looking forward to catching up with people before I head back to the UK the following day. I understand this meeting will also serve as something of a farewell for Andrew Bates before he departs for Sydney, so it would be nice to see lots of people there.
