Personally, I would respond thusly:
Ms Turia, the comparison is not a valid one. This is a question of ideology not race or nationality, which I am forced to assume from the ambiguity of your response is what you are referring to. I, personally am of European/Caucasian descent, and I see no reason as to why I would be answerable for the wars of 'my people' as I never recall being given the choice in my ethnicity. As for ideology or philosophy, in the unlikely event that suicide bombers started killing people in the name of Objectivism, the denouncement and rejection would come swiftly and loudly.
These are not terrorists who happen to be Muslim, they are terrorists operating in the name of Islam. Is it not surprising or even disconcerting that adherents to a 'religion of peace' are not vehemently denouncing en masse others who murder in the name of that same religion?
You are right, we have no right to demand this of them. But we do have the right to ask 'Why not?'.

My brief: Most importantly, to keep a sharp eye on Rick, and, when he's getting too cheeky, ensure that he gets sent to the spanking room for a damn good Jihadi thrashing. Once that's out of the way I'm to keep soloists abreast of events in the Jihad world. Pretty simple really. I realise many keep themselves well informed anyway, but there's a lot going on so there's always things that might slip under the radar. I'll try and cover that gap and, if something's important enough, bring it to peoples attention.
