Audio and text from Lindsay's Radio Pacific Editorial, Wednesday Aug 29:

Item 1, from Fox News:

“A popular comic strip that poked fun at the Rev. Jerry Falwell without incident one week ago was deemed too controversial to run over the weekend because this time it took a humorous swipe at Muslim fundamentalists.

“The Washington Post and several other newspapers around the country did not run Sunday's installment of Berkeley Breathed's ‘Opus,’ in which the spiritual fad-seeking character Lola Granola appears in a headscarf and explains to her boyfriend, Steve, why she wants to become a radical Islamist.

“Sources told FOXNews.com that the strips were shown to Muslim staffers at The Washington Post to gauge their reaction, and they responded ‘emotionally’ to the depiction of a woman dressed in traditional Muslim garb and espousing conservative Islamic views.

“Editors from The Washington Post declined to comment on why they made the decision to pull the two comic strips.”

Well, we know why, don’t we? They capitulated to Islamo-Fascism. Without a single rhetorical shot being fired.

Not I.

Item 2—a joke. J-O-K-E:

Two Muslim mothers are sitting in the cafe chatting over a pint of goat's milk. The older of the moms pulls out her bag and starts flipping through pictures and reminiscing.

"This is my oldest son, Mohammed. He would be 24 now."

The other mom replies, "I remember him as a baby."

Mom says, "He's a martyr now."

"Oh, so sad, my dear."

Mom flips to another picture. "And this is my second son, Kali. He would
be 21."

"Oh I remember him. He had such curly hair when he was born."

Mom sighs, "He's a martyr, too."

"Oh gracious me," says the second mother.

"And this is my third son. My beautiful Ahmed. He would be 18," Mom whispers.

"Yes," says her friend enthusiastically, "I remember when he first started school."

"He's a martyr also," Mom says, with tears in her eyes.

After a pause and a deep sigh, the second Muslim mother looks wistfully at the photos and says:

"They blow up so fast, don't they?"

It is a common

It is a common consideration, that the majority of lawyers are arseholes in suits.

I think journalists and the MSM have transcended this degradation to a higher level.
