Update from Melbourne

So, I've been a bit busy of late. Things are starting to stabilise though, in that I have a schedule, a routine, and can actually start planning to spend leisure time on certain things. These include:

SOLO. I'm afraid I've been neglecting SOLO for a while, and haven’t yet reviewed the last podcast. Briefly: I love it! Having played it for my friend, boarder & business partner, his response a grin, and “why isn’t this on the 6 o’clock news?!?!?” My answer: I’m sure the SOLO exec is working on it Smiling The content is excellent, and the quality of the production & audio has improved no end (due I’m sure in no small part to my equipment & office having nothing to do with the recording any more Smiling )

I also should mention that I haven’t forgotten my promise to Lindsay to sit down & listen to that recording of Nessun Dorma, with his notes in hand. Not to mention the long-awaited (by at least two people) summary of where I’m at with thinking about politics, philosophy, etc. All of this amounts to a commitment to post at least one serious story / blog / podcast to SOLO per week for the foreseeable future.

Flying. That’s been in a state of temporary hiatus (much to Lindsay’s joy I’m sure) for the last few weeks, but my next lesson is booked in for Saturday 15th - stalling, in a Cessna 150 Aerobat this time (a change from the Evektor Sporstar I’ve been training in).

AMOK! I was going to start training in this regularly, but that’s unrealistic at the moment. So I’m going to have a go at organising another seminar (like this one I organised in Auckland), again inviting local friends & colleagues (any Melbourne-based SOLOists?). Details will be posted on my blog as I have them.

Weights. Three nights a week I’ll be hitting the weights with Armin, trying to get myself into better shape (preferably, the same shape I left Auckland in).

Stay tuned for the next exciting instalment Smiling

JUst found this.

Looks like you're living well, Mr B. The envy of other 28 year olds everywhere.

Glad to know podcast3 came out to your satisfaction, especially since you wrote it (I designed it!)

Have another one for you and Mr Armin to listen to this weekend. A podcast direct from Canada.

We're counting! Smiling
