The revelation by National Party Associate Health Spokesman Jonathan Coleman that Labour and Green members of the Health Select Committee wanted to ban all beverages but water from the workplace shows what a disgusting bunch of control freaks sit in our parliament, says SOLO (Sense of Life Objectivists) Principal Lindsay Perigo. Being
'fair and balanced' myself, I should say that there was one shocking incident last year involving Bill O'Reilly.
He selectively edited an interview with Senator Joe Biden cutting out the key sentence (!) which completely misrepresented what Biden said.
The entire 7 minute interview was shown, minus the 3 seconds of that sentence! (which meant it was deliberate) and was unprofessional, to say the least.
O'Reilly later apologised.
Fox
News is great.
It is very fair and balanced, albeit coming from a Conservative viewpoint, much more so than CBS for example.
Critics of Fox should tune in to Bill O'Reilly and see that people he gets stuck into are given an opportunity to respond, and he does not hesitate to attack Republican politicians if he disagrees with them.
I make a point of watching his programme everyday.
(When was the last time Hillary was criticised on CBS or the New York Times?)

As do I, Fox is a great resource for all the stories that the
left leaning'balanced' media don't seem to want to report on. Like the nabbing of Abu Shahid, for instance, I searched all over my regular news feeds and Fox was the only one. There was not even a mention of it from any other news source.And as for the theological conspiracy, they do love getting Hitchens on an a lot though, don't you think?

My own built in bullshit detector;) I scan the 'Beeb', Fox, CNN, Stuff, Scoop (parliament and politics feeds), TVNZ, and TV 3. Filter it all through "so what are they trying to make me assume, what isn't factual, and what AREN'T they saying."

It's gone out ...
... to every media outlet and every politician in the country. To the other countries represented on SOLO too, since someone like CNN might find it newsworthy that NZ politicians thought of banning coffee etc in the workplace—everything but water. But every SOLOist should print it out and plaster it all over the place as well. This is truly disgraceful, and should be given the widest possible publicity.
