A sense of shame?Submitted by Elijah Lineberry on Sat, 2007-09-22 03:42.
Brian Gaynor has finally written an article which talks some sense. Gosh...it is true that if you wait long enough you live to see everything! He talks about how Rob Muldoon robbed New Zealand of its wealth. I wonder if the National Party people feel a deep sense of shame reading the article? It is a warning as to what happens when you put ignorant working class people in charge of anything important...(rather than the blue blooded Keith Holyoake, Jack Marshall and Sid Holland)...and another reason to view John Key with a sense of dread in view of his 'background'...(or lack of one)...whereas the English family have been Southland Landowners for decades. There are various issues around 'compulsion' and a state run Fund Manager, but setting that aside it rather makes you want to cry at the lost opportunities, and how a single mad alcoholic running amok can destroy things for 3 generations!
