I am interisted in organising/participating in some kind of protest over the summer.
> I think we need to do somthing that the media would find hard to ignore without disrupting any one or damaging property ect (so not like a lefty protest). So somthing creative and some what prevocative so the public could see what the libertarian movements about without alianating ourselves.

> I would actually like to organise a series of theatrical demonstration each focusing on a specific aspect of freedom. The idea would be to act as if New Zealand had vertially already become a police state in a public place were the public would witness it with out being involved (eg we can't very well talk about the evil of force and then force them to activly participate in our demonstration) obvously some were with cameras (we could also film it our selves to give to media). My idea is to have one of the demonstraiters play the "victim" of an arrest for a future crime and the rest would play the police/gastapo (what ever you want to call them)

> The possibility's are endless examples would be mock arresting some one( a willing Participant) for buying "junk food" in a supermarket, arresting some one for buying cigarettes, smacking there kids lightly on the bum (opps sorry the real police bet as to it) the list goes on. You would know better than I would as to wither this could be done with out breaking any laws my only thought was being charged for impersonating a police officer but then we don't have to dress like the actaul police.

> Tell me what you think I have more ideas on specifics but don't want to bore you to tears with them if you think its a bad idea to begin with (if you do thinks it is please indicate why). I figure its a way to get media attention given there amazing abilitie to censor past efforts (eg lindsay leading the smacking protest). I feel we need to act more, talking with one another over the finear point of liberty is fine but its a waste of time if its done while the not so fine points of freedom are being taken away as we speak.
