Anti Communist Heroes

William Casey was a great man and a kind of unsung hero of the Anti Communist movement.

Because Casey was CIA Director and the left wing media make all the noise, and Bob Woodward wrote that disgustingly false book 'Veil', his achievements have been submerged in socialist lies and misrepresentations.

It is splendid news then to read that the 'Honourable Company Of Freedom Fighters' has bestowed a posthumous award on William Casey...(and about time, too, in my opinion)

Oliver North tells the story of the ceremony, but what struck a chord with me was the letter William Casey wrote to his baby daughter in 1944 to explain his absence on her 1st birthday..

This ocean was placed between us by forces you never knew, which the generation before mine failed to control and which mine must stamp out…It is a task which must be done if we are to live in peace, freedom and decency. We shrank from the job and the danger grew...

or what about this part...

If I had been with you these six months I would always have felt the uneasiness of reaping the benefits of someone else's sacrifice. Now, when we are brought together again, as we all pray daily that we shall be soon; we will know that we have earned the happiness which shall be ours.

A true hero. Smiling
