At the request of Rick, and after establishing some facts with him, I have deleted and retracted yesterday's comments. In a series of lengthy emails going back and forth with Rick, I've established that there was a miscommunication, that was my fault, resulting in Rick being unaware of his reinstatement, and of me acting on the assumption that he had accepted it. I apologise to Rick as certain comments have turned out to be inaccurate.

My estimation of Rick hasn't changed. I think he's manipulative, slimy and sneaky. A master of misdirection and mind games. To what ends I don't know or care. However, I'm done with this episode, it seems the more I respond to Rick the more mired I get in bullshit, as he throws up new challenges - stripped of, or with their contexts slightly but significantly altered. It's a stupid game, for stupid people and I don't want to play it.
