Happy New Year, 2008!Submitted by NickOtani on Tue, 2008-01-01 21:12.
Well, it's here again. The beginning of a new year. As always, I will try to lose weight. I'll try to get into shape, keep up an exercise routine. I'll try to read new books and learn more. I'll try to get a good paying and rewarding job and get closer to my goal of being a philosophy professor. I'll try to get closer to my goal of getting books published. And, I'll just keep on keeping on. I am, currently, still substitute teaching in the Spokane Valley. I make enough money to get by and keep repairing my car when it breaks down. I still look in on my mother, who is getting older and not able to move around much. I hope she can hang on for another year. I still post on the SOLOPassion.com board and the Atlas Society Forums. I'm still looking for posters who know about Objectivism and philosophy and can debate with me without getting abusive. I still wait for my family in Germany to come around and not be so mean to me. I have not bothered them at all last year. This year I am working on the goal of translating some of my material into German and posting on German messageboards. Perhaps I can keep up my knowledge of German and continue to improve it along with increasing my search for people intersted in Objectivism and philosophy. I am also watching my favorite shows on television and looking forward to the new season. I am also watching lots of good movies coming out on DVD. Such is my life. Anyone else willing to share? bis bald, Nick

Well, since you asked
Life's been good and will likely continue to be. I have a lot of really good things on my plate that will hopefully pan out.
