SOLO is running very slow for me. It is only SOLO, other websites are fine.
I also keep getting server not responding messages. Anybody else?

Yes Lance, you can, but that is still my old picture. I can't upload the new one.

In a minute I'll take it down, so I'll have an 'awaiting picture' icon, but I suspect William will have to physically delete the old one, or something, so I can then upload the new one.

Hi William. Just got my passport photo done and thought I would upload as my original photo is old, and too small to see me anyway.

I can delete my old photo, but when I go to upload my new photo, it simply updates back to my old photo?

It looks like we are experiencing problems with Dreamhost again. I've taken the drastic steps of crippling several website features to try to get us under these limits and keep the website up. People have already noticed the number or reads missing from the bottom of the page (conspiracy theorists commence). We hope to have the problem resolved quickly.

Not too sure about anybody else, but over the last two days ( 28th and 29th January) I'm finding reading and posting to the site, anchored around the 'Recent Posts' facility, just about impossible. Main problems are 'page not found' and 'access denied' errors.

I am having problems with recent posts updating (for about a week)- my computer is sporadically recognizing new posts. I see new posts on the main page but when I go to that thread the posts are not there.

I don't log on all of the time when visiting SOLO and the above problems had never happened before. While logging on for this post the server doubled my name in the 'who's online' list and also updated the recent posts.

I use Safari and a Mac.

As any conscientious and impartial researcher knows these entities are aligned with the ARI, and Peikoff (along with Hillary Rodham Clinton) is himself a shape-shifting reptilian. Vallerigo are/is being manipulated by the reptilians - they just don't see it due to their temporarily aligned goal of the implosion of TAS! You see, when you remove your biased blinkers it all becomes crystal clear!

Things have sped up a considerable amount, but we are getting the dreaded internal_error about once an hour. I've looked to see if I can narrow down the problem. I've also opened a ticket with our hosting company as a sanity check (hey I did have a head injury recently). If any more gremlins show up please don't hesitate to email the webmaster or post it to this forum.

On Wed 16th 17:15 - 17:28 NZ, I had trouble posting and then editing when I didn't close my italics. A slightly larger post. The post and edit looked to time out but when I refreshed screen it was there and italics had closed.

I've got some type of problem with the 'Batten Down the Hatches' thread. When I go into it, the order has been reversed (showing first last), and I can't save my old settings. Worse, I either can't get to the most recent post, or many of the most recent posts seem to be missing at the moment.

Anybody else having problems?

Even thought it is winter I did some spring cleaning on the database. We are at a light traffic time right now, but as the NZ day wares on if anyone notices major performance problems (or improvements) let me know here on this thread.

Good one, Wm. And I'll try smacking it at my end. Often works. 

I have noted a bunch of HTTP 500 server errors lately as well. I've turned some dials and ran through some performance tweaks for our site. I'll post back here when I have something more to report.
