Herald reports Australian euthanasia campaigner Philip Nitschke has been arrested at Auckland airport for bringing in copies of a handbook advising people how to take their own lives.

His partner and co-author of the Peaceful Pill Handbook said his arrest was a surprise, as he had only taken the book to New Zealand to resubmit it to the country's chief censor Bill Hastings.

They are probably off to have a good book burning. I'm a bit naive I suppose. I didn't know they can ban books in this "free" country. So there is some arsehole individual in Wellington that can simply make the decision that I shall not have access to a book? Just like that?

The words Ban, Banning and Banned are hugely overused in New Zealand.

Global warming is a hoax carbonhoax.org.nz and spread the word.
