Today's hero is Sandor Teszler. I've gone through and written and deleted and re-written several summaries - none of which have done any justice at all to the subject. I recommend this video from the TED Talks where his friend Ben Dunlap speaks about this remarkable, wise, and gentle man's life.

Of particular interest and one of the reasons I chose Sandor Teszler as someone to highlight is the story of how he built and operated the first integrated factory workplace in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. With no government interference, with no violation of the right to freedom of association; Teszler - using his wealth, his mind and the power of persuasion had blacks and whites working side by side, using the same toilets, drinking fountains and cafeterias. He saw the culture was fundamentally wrong and worked to change it. He persuaded people, he didn't compel them.

Go on, watch the video... you'll laugh, you'll cry, it'll change your life.
