"the state has gradually annexed all the responsibilities"
Pamela of Atlas Shrugs introduces Mark Steyn to the CPAC Conference – (Washington DC Feb 7 – 9)
“Sometimes it doesn’t seem that there is any obvious connection between the war on terror and the so called “pocket issues” of domestic politics. But in fact there is a very precise relationship between the structural weaknesses of the modern western world and the rise of globalised Islam. In the developed world, the state has gradually annexed all the responsibilities of adulthood…..health care, childcare, care of the elderly, to the point where it has actually severed its citizens from even our most primal instincts, including the survival instinct. “
Mark Steyn
Now that Giuliani's out...
my next choice would be Mitt Romney. I prefer him over McCain. He's solid... and he has his priorities right on the Iraq/Iran situation.
Pamela On Youtube
Pamela is one hot chick. I generally like her videos.
She's obsessed with the war and her hatred of Islam.
I love her for it, but, it's even over-the-top for me.
In one video she started by attacking Al Gore and yet couldn't resist going after Islam. Unfortunately, she's a typical, superficial, libertarian.
