... their burning of European flags is an expression of their hatred towards those countries, just as anti-American protesters burning American flags is an expression of hatred towards America.
I'm not suggesting that flag-burning should be criminalised, merely raising it as an example of Muslim hatred for those countries.

A flag is a symbol, not the thing.
For example, if someone were to burn down a building, does that mean that the city is imperiled? Does it likewise mean that building should cease?
