Mamet Wanders Right...

The man who gave us Glengarry Glen Ross and The Verdict is no longer "a brain dead liberal," as David Mamet himself writes in The Village Voice.
From experience, he has discovered that freedom is the way to go. He also had some help:
"I began reading not only the economics of Thomas Sowell (our greatest contemporary philosopher) but Milton Friedman, Paul Johnson, and Shelby Steele, and a host of conservative writers, and found that I agreed with them: a free-market understanding of the world meshes more perfectly with my experience than that idealistic vision I called liberalism."
Mamet still thinks Godot is the Twentieth Century's greatest play, so, now, if we can just improve his theatrical taste...
