I have seen a few posters around town lately advertising "Marxism 2008", which is some sort of convention to be held at the Grey Lynn Community Centre this coming weekend. The programme http://thespark.org.nz/2008/05/02/marxism-2008-programme/ has a lot of bizarre socialist nonsense, something called "The Workers Party" (*snigger*)... together with some of the 'Usual Suspects' as speakers (like Minto).
My thought was that as there will only be about 4 people there, why not get a few of us to turn up, join this 'Workers Party', and then use our 'Block Votes' to pass resolutions promoting Capitalism, free markets, support for the Iraq War and so on?
Is anyone interested in an hilarious weekend?
