Just when you thought it was only Libertarianz who took offence at the least little thing....

The Police in Tayside distributed a postcard showing a cute puppy with a telephone number for non emergencies, and you may have thought the locals would be pleased about this and put it next to the telephone in case the number was ever required.

But no...it seems in the 'Age of Umbrage' things could never be that simple.

The local Islamo-fascists are outraged at this Puzzled because muslims hate dogs...(but are supportive of paedophiles and witchcraft)...and are taking the matter up with the Tayside Chief Constable.

I only hope he tells them where to stick their complaints and issues an unofficial edict to his officers not to send in police dogs the next time a violent offender needs subduing after robbing or assaulting local Islamo-fascists.

This story is pathetic. No other word for it, and that these lunatic people are given a hearing by the Police and media is a very sad situation.

I'm reading the great "god Is Not Great" by Hitchens at the moment.

Mohammed had a fondness for pussycats, so his troopers take that to mean they must dislike mutts.

Oh dear...it is getting worse.

The Lord Chief Justice has said that using Sharia law is okay, that "..'It is possible in this country for those who are entering into a contractual agreement to agree that the agreement shall be governed by a law other than English law.." Shocked

He went on to say..."'widespread misunderstanding as to the nature of sharia law"...ha ha oh, Mr Lord Chief Justice, Eye I think we understand it very well, and clearly much better than gullible fools like you. Eye

Fortunately common sense is prevailing with the Conservative party shadow Home Secretary, Dominic Grieve saying 'One of the key aspects of our free society in Britain is equality under our own laws. It is important that this should be understood and respected by all in our country" ...a good man Smiling
