I reckon he is kaput. I'm trying to draft up a press release, but anyone else in welcome in the meantime ....

I've been thinking
I've been thinking overnight, Peter, and we're both wrong, although my fault, given the way I structured the query.
The answer is 'the owner of a very good micro-brewery'.
"Who would you rather go out
"Who would you rather go out with on Saturday night: Winston or Flip Flop?"
Myself. Unaccompanied.
Cheers, Peter Cresswell

Yes. Although, and don't
Yes. Although, and don't get me wrong, I hate Winston, for the reason I hate all Statists, but for me there is underneath an admiration for his gall over the years, and his strength of character: just a pity he put it all toward evil, not freedom.
A sense of life, I guess.
And because of that, the current spectacle does have a sad, sick side to it, watching Winston go down, and Flip Flop Opportunist John profit from it (having not a principle himself).
Who would you rather go out with on Saturday night: Winston or Flip Flop?
I confess I am rather
I confess I am rather enjoying the spectacle of it all as I watch people I have long suspected of being utterly rotten getting their comeuppance.
New phrase: "Short toadstool syndrome"
Enjoyment derived from the participation in, or observation of, evil little bastards being taken down.
Yes, she does still get
Yes, she does still get that idiot ETS through.
When the ETS is fully implemented, 83% of current sheep and beef farms will be uneconomic. That obscenity is an utter disaster for us all.
... and there should be an
... and there should be an election called forthwith.
Unfortunately, I think she still gets the ETS through, or does she?

Kofi
Surely her lowest level of integrity will be enough to knock Kofi off his perch?
Huh? I don't think Helen wants to be the Chancellor of the University of Ghana.
Oh, you mean UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. Gotcha.
Winston and Helen are
Winston and Helen are certainly dragging it out.
Helen must be a cert in the UN by now
Surely her lowest level of integrity will be enough to knock Kofi off his perch?
I'm almost done.
I'm almost done. Unfortunately it has gone a bit literary, so up to you whether you use it or not.
You are quite right there,
You are quite right there, Lindsay...alas...
In July/August 1974 when the Communistic US Supreme Court ordered Nixon to release his audio tapes....he did so
..(rather odd behaviour)
Had it been me ...I would have said "Mr Supreme Court Justices, I am the President, with 400,000 troops and 2.8 million reservists at my disposal, your request is declined....and what are you going to do about it"
On election day...tick the LIBERTARIANZ box...
Presser
I'll do one tomorrow if Helen dumps him, as looks lightly. I find it hard to believe he doesn't have a trick up his sleeve, but he could be like Nixon, of whom he often reminds me—thought to be a smart operator but surprisingly dumb when the chips are down.
(Opps...ha ha! I clicked
(Opps...ha ha! I clicked the wrong button...)
I have knocked on numerous doors, and met hundreds of people in the Tamaki electorate and am yet to find a single person to mention Winston being a crook, or Helen a crook....but lots of people have talked about bread and butter issues.
'Stick to fundamentals' ..is my advice
On election day...tick the LIBERTARIANZ box...
I know this feeding frenzy
I know this feeding frenzy is all rather amusing...but I have said before, and say again, the chap in the street does not give a toss.
The chap in the street is concerned about petrol prices, rising food prices, interest rates, shoes for their children..(etc).
The Libz should stick to bread and butter issues and avoid this sort of trash...no one understands the issues, and no one cares.
