It appears 'the game is up'Submitted by Elijah on Mon, 2008-09-01 20:41.
Obama is finished and John McCain will be the next President. The Democrat Party Convention has resulted in almost no 'bounce' in opinion polls as was expected and Rasmussen is showing Obama leading 47% - 44%....a mere 3% lead. That figure is more or less the margin of error and much in line with Obama's figures in the couple of weeks prior to the convention, which means all the liberal media slobbering (you should have seen how TVNZ appointed Obama President for Life), all the speeches, all the shows of unity, all the nonsense has had no effect whatsoever on American voters. What a splendid result! Even more splendid is that in 'Electoral College Polling' Obama has actually dropped in support! ...even McGovern and Mondale got a bounce with the electoral college coming out of their conventions (however temporarily)...and this is unprecedented. I have been watching this sort of thing for 20 years, since I was a boy, and am astonished you can come out of a convention in the position Obama is in at the moment; as I wrote last week, I expected Obama to be 10% - 15% ahead and I strongly suspect that September will be a very bad month for him.
