I have no numbers - geesh I suppose I miss out.
However I do have emblazoned across the back of my car in BOLD letters "GLOBAL WARMING IS BULLSHIT"

I'm blushing. Sticking out tongue

I asked you a while ago if you have a car number plate with 6 numbers or only 5, but you never got back to me.

If you have one with only 5, I have a gift for you that you are gonna really love! Let me know and I'll have it couriered your way.

You are so very beautiful. I really mean that ...inside and out.

Thanks, Olivia, I even have an Ex-Muslim heroine in The Infidel who looks similar, and whose beauty really comes out after she leaves the faith.

I gotta say, your damsel is beautiful. Love the perfect bone structure... and the eye-brows! That's how I "accentuate" mine when I get dolled up. Eye

I was a damsel in much distress this evening

Sandi's picture

I gave a speech at Toastmasters dedicated to the huge steps forward islam has made since 9/11 whilst dressed in my burqa.

For starters I couldn't read my notes, I couldn't breathe through the material and was literally running out of breath with each sentence. Since buttons must be either un-islamic or merely not invented, the entire thing is held together with velcro and I was too afraid to leave the security of the rostrum lest the damned thing fell apart!

I lasted under that damned veil for 15 minutes before I simply had to remove it......how those women cope is beyond me.

Damsels in distress - yes Bosch so very poignant.

unsub, that's interesting, I

unsub, that's interesting, I was born into a Muslim family myself, and that fact no doubt had something to do with my full plunge into the subject of Islam and its Jihad in this post 9/11 world.
And thanks again, Landon.

I'll be interested in buying a copy. If I like it, you can sign it.

I was born into a Muslim family and raised as one. My reasoning on religions began at about the age of 12.

I have been in NZ since 1989. I deviated from Islam long before I arrived on these shores.

Great piece

Like I said on your blog, great piece Bosch.

Shari it might be of interest to you that even though this isn't a Libertarian (or Libertarianz) site this is an Objectivist site. SOLO stands for Sense Of Life Objectivists.

I wouldn't go as far as to say everyone here is an Objectivist, but we're probably in the majority on this site.

Thanks, unsub, and it's

Bosch Fawstin's picture

Thanks, unsub, and it's going on 4 years of working on it. Spent a ton of time researching all I could on Islam/Jihad/Mohammed, etc. and after nearly attempting to know it all, had to step back on the pre-work and get to work. I'm currently awaiting the final decision of a publisher I've interested and will post about it when something breaks.

symbolism/existentialism

Bosch Fawstin,

Great stuff. Thank you for the explanation. Very interesting. How long have you been working on your book?

If not an existentialist, perhaps you are not familiar with Nietzsche, Schopenhaur, and Frankl? I know but very little of all 3.

unsub,No, it's not a poster

Bosch Fawstin's picture

unsub,

No, it's not a poster or a book cover, it's part of my continued postings that relate to my graphic novel, The Infidel. I do them as a way to keep myself engaged with the world about my book as I work on it.
And that 'mythical monster' is Pigman, the counter-Jihad superhero, the hero of the comic book within my graphic novel. And his place in the piece is symbolic, not literal. It's my take on the old 'hero saving the damsel in distress', taken to an extreme in this case.

Now, that lady with her hands on her face is in despair, as are all of them, and the one on the top right has male hands on her. And no, I'm not an existentialist, unsub.

P.S.
Thanks, Joe.

Shari, careful with the snap conclusions...I can understand your confusion if you don't know the past context, but Bosch's illustrations are part of an ongoing series of posts to promote his upcoming work. A quick review of his site (fawstin.blogspot.com), or an overview of his past posts, will show where he's coming from. Smiling

Is this a poster? A book cover?

Okay, there's a Muslim woman crying tears of blood. In the background, there is what looks like a mythical monster.

A pair of hands grasping at some type of symbol. And another pair of hands covering its nose; stopping the stench?

Are you an existentialist, Bosch Fawstin?
