Rudd joins the lefties smear campaign chorus against capitalism

Despite blatant evidence that the current economic failures were caused by government regulation,  shameless pragmatists like Obama and now Rudd are selling the lie as hard as they can to their envy driven cannon fodder, who are buying as much of it as their spineless souls can stomach.

"None as blind as those who don't want to see" I guess, especially if this lie prints free meal-vouchers, sponsored by the unwitting self-sacrificing lobotomised victims of this socialist farce.

Its time for those with any vestage of self esteem to relegate these parasites back to the woodwork at the next election.

Kevin Rudd seems dangerously eager to draw the wrong, anti-capitalist lessons from the Wall St meltdown:

KEVIN Rudd has urged international leaders to end an era of “extreme capitalism” and reject the notion that “greed is good” by embracing a new world order of global financial regulation…

Mr Rudd called for a new “debate that brings to a head how we shape the reward structures of corporate Australia”.

“This culture was never challenged by a political and economic
ideology of extreme capitalism,” he said. “And this crisis bears the
fingerprints of the extreme free market ideologues who influence much
of the neo-liberal economic elite.”

Apologies Duncan

Capitalism has become the enemy of the envious and all the needy who have been convinced that the producers owe them a free ride.

The lefties started it, but since it's proven its worth as an election winner, both sides are falling over their feet to produce the most effective variant of this Robin Hood Racket.

Obviously this remark is not meant for choirboys or the converted.

BTW, how's your PPL coming on...and your combat training?

I admit that reason is a small and feeble flame, a flickering torch by stumblers carried in the starless night, -- blown and flared by passion's storm, -- and yet, it is the only light. Extinguish that, and nought remains.- - Robert Green Ingersoll

Lefties' smear campaign?

Lefties' smear campaign?  How about McCain:

"Unfettered capitalism is not something that I said I support," Mr.
McCain said. "I support capitalism and the free-enterprise system, and
that's why we have various agencies of government to bring these things
under control. And from time to time throughout our history, there are
excesses, and we have to fix them."

... who is a damn site more right-wing than most Australasian politicians.

Neither the Right or the Left support capitalism nowadays.  They just go about attacking it from different directions.
