After the recent murder of a shop owner in South Auckland, Key went on to say that 2 hours later, the shop was tagged! Then he had the audacity to say that "more police are needed on the streets". Hello! you are telling us that you will have a bobby outside each and every store to defend each and every store owner in the LIKELIHOOD of being held-up? Or if being held up and no bobby is around must they then convince their attacker to not murder them and wait for them to dial the police - GET REAL!!!

"Stop or I'll shoot" is not only the most moral, it is the best deterrent there is! Lest a man be rendered defenseless as would a mere slave whose life is not worthy of defense.

It was a belly laugh, when Helen said that there were "2000 more police since she's been in power"........yes dear leader (Helen) that is a clear indication of the degradation of society since you have sat on the throne.
Hypocrite of the entire debate goes to HELEN CLARK, who said "Citizens should be allowed to use reasonable force", Need I highlight the gun shop owner who was prosecuted or the recent shop owner who (being stabbed) was recently charged. (scoff)
