This man was one of the most amazing film makers in the history of the medium.

Some of his accomplishments include the science fiction epic "Metropolis"... the murder mystery "M" and many many others.

I'm a pretty big fan I'm kind of wondering if any other Soloists are as well.

I'd very much like to see Fritz Lang's 'Siegfried' and compare his visual treatment of the story with Wagner's musical treatment. Has anybody seen this?

Re FL's Metropolis

~~ For FL's fans, if you can also find George Moroder's version (where he adds his own music-background and uses changing color-tints for various scenes), it'd be well worth checking out...and comparing to the original.

Yeah the moment where Freder join's Grot's hand to his father Joh Frederson's because "in any dispute be the head and hands, the mediator must be the heart" warms even this Objectivist's heart.

I saw Metropolis when I was 19; I remember loving it, but not remembering too much of it. I'll have to see it again, and M as well. Brings back those memories of my Media education!

Have you seen the movie Fury. It stars Spencer Tracy. It is about a lynching. I wouldn't tell anymore because it would spoil it.

Kind of what piqued my interest. From what I could gather, it seems like she was right on the money.

You're probably aware of Rand's take on Lang in THE ROMANTIC MANIFESTO...
