"Can you tell the difference between them?"

Said to President Obama in response to his remark that he just had meetings with the UK Prime Minister, the Chinese, the Russians, and David Cameron. Although I don't agree with all Philip's political ideals (for e.g. - he's the head of the WWF), I love his long history of politically incorrect speech. Reported by the Daily Telegraph as being a faux pas - you have to admire him for his honesty!

"G20 could give $1 trillion stimulus to boost world economy."

My god! They all look drunk, don't they? But it's not just the free alcohol that's flowing!

'Why does he have to shout?'

Marcus's picture

No where as good as her Husband, but mildly amusing anyway.

"At the end of the G20 photo call yesterday Mr Berlusconi shouted out to the US President: “Mr Obamaaaa! This is Mister Berlusconi!”. The Queen then turned to the gathered leaders and said: “What is it? Why does he have to shout?"

Philip failed though

as much as I like him. D'ya remember the newspapers reporting his visiting a factory and upon seeing some dodgy wiring he commented "was this put in by an Indian?"

Great stuff, and not the only example, I'm sure he keeps Her Majesty amused.

That twat son of his Charles should have been put over his knee more overly. Look what tripe the twerp speaks of.

Nothing like a bit of corporal.

It's not even other people's money...

Marcus's picture

...it's coming off the printing press. Obama and Brown have become so intoxicated with the idea of 'printing money' like dictators of banana republics that they want the IMF to do it too. In other words, don't just spend the money you don't have today, spend the money you don't have tomorrow too!

It's easy to be generous with other people's money

It's also time for Atlas to Shrug. 8)
