Daniel Hannans 2009 election results speech
Another goodie.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...
I think the point Glenn...
...was trying to make was that Brown's party came third in the latest EU parliament election.
Labour now only have 13 seats in the EU parliament, the same number as the smaller anti-EU party UKIP, compared to the Euro-sceptics conservative parties' 26. Since the elctions Labour also has no longer majority control in any local council in the entire country.
In other words, in the last elections Brown has effectively been flushed by voters.
As the Labour party doesn't have a second choice for leader, it is assumed Brown is going to hold on as PM until May next year when he will be forced by law to hold a General election.
An oldie but a goodie
You've been too busy Glenn - that went viral Mar 25th.
It's not that their GDP has
It's not that their GDP has been reduced to third world status, but that their level of debt is higher as a proportion of GDP than many third world countries.
Jail the slimely bastard
And here is a good reason why. If (as stated in the clip), the GDP of Britain has been reduced to a level that is now lower than some countries receiving aid from the UN, then this is reckless trading at the very least. I am totally certain there are more damning infringements made by this prick and his Breshnez Buddies from the labour party, but I really don't know enough British law to even hazard a guess.
