Glenn Beck Defends Himself

Glenn Beck is in trouble again for calling Obama a racist on Fox and Friends. The MSM are baying for his blood. Is his career now on the line? He suggests it might be.

Glenn defended his comment on his radio show and he made a KASS case.

The problem, I guess, is a matter of definition.

According to the mainstream definition Obama is not racist, however as is clear below they believe that being 'half black/ half white' disqualifies Obama from being racist. Paradoxically it is his 'race' that disqualifies him from being racist. This is a common argument. Linz has even had a TV debate posted here on SOLO on whether or not it is possible for Maori to be racist.

Is Obama racist?

Not to any overt degree that I care about.

However, if Beck manages to highlight the hypocrisy in the typical Liberal left's definition of racism AND their abuse of the label in order to close down any opposition to their views - THEN he will have done some good.

I've always had trouble with

I've always had trouble with Fox's programing. They've obviously hired about ten women from a beauty pageant - okay to here, I guess - to do those idiot 'international' slots that break up the show I'm trying to watch: the segments are usually about health-care, and boring. I don't want to watch that.

And it's probably shallow, but I find the sets they use garish and irritating to my eye.

As for Beck, I like what he is trying to do, I used to watch him when I could, but I'm finding him more and more cloying. That bullshit where he tries to snuggle up to the camera and talk to me as 'his audience' puts me off. And if I hear him talk about his alcoholism one more time, I'm switching him off for a very long time.

I don't know if I'm a typical white suburban executive...

...and I will never care to know, but our current severely crippled and crippling president is exactly right because he is exactly wrong.

He's right. I do not want to be taxed to "pay for" inner city poor children's education, because inner city poor children's education is an example of education. Education is primarily taken, not given. It is at best well offered. Education is not "paid for," especially by others. Education is taken. Education in America is already well offered in suburbs and in inner cities. It is exactly the argument of cripplers like the Obamas -- 'somebody out there in the 'burbs isn't buying your education for you' -- that results in the truly shitty attitudes of the entitlement addled shit for brains taking up space in inner city schools.

In my precise scenario, I grew up and went to school in an 'inner city school district', and I took my education there, from teachers who were first class offerers. Within a decade of my graduation, the culture in that 'inner city' changed, and suddenly it was 'struggling' with students who were 'at risk.' Funny, when those same schools were filled with dirt poor white coal miner trash, we weren't 'at risk.' Those exact same teachers, in those exact same buildings, where education was more than adequately offered to me, were suddenly 'inadequate' for the job of offering education ... to entitlement addled little drug lord bling-a-fied little dope king wannabees. Morons, shit for brains, little mobster thugs. Obama is right, screw them and their offspring, no amount of taxing me is ever going to fix their shitty attitudes for them. I'm supposed to feel guilty, because they and theirs are idiots? Not happening.

Attitude and behavior have much more to do with outcomes in our schools than the amount of money thrown at students slumped into their chairs treating their free public education opportunity with nothing but open contempt, expecting others to come up with a magic pain free education delivery system that will bring about effortless outcomes--which is the heroin that Obama et al are pushing with their entitlement nonsense.

I came from poor white coal miner trash, and took my education in those same schools, from those same suddenly inadequate teachers. I'm not buying any of Obama's 'moved to the burb's and refusing to pay for inner city kids education' guilt. None, zero, nada, zilch. He's totally got it wrong, and worse, his pet Soc. grad student little thesis beliefs are totally crippling those inner city kids, turning them into dependents for life. He should take his affirmative action sensibilities, organize one more community somewhere and then quit.

The Ivies manufacture these Sotomayer and Obama things by the crap load. They are like instructed robots. They could be replaced by a tape -- a very short tape-- and we'd be no less informed as a species.

Unfortunately ...

... these days I find Glenn unwatchable, he's so manic.

Obama is probably not a racist, since above all else he's an opportunist. At least, I now find myself hoping he is, since his support is plummeting and opportunism would dictate the abandonment of his hitherto-fascist agenda.

Undeniably he's friendly with, and attractive to, hard-core racists like the manic Rev. Jeremiah Wright and the arrested professor, and soft-core PC racists like Orchard and Goode who speak in the cool monotone of fashionable ennui.

Poor Glenn's exasperation at the evil irrationality of it all is driving his blood pressure through the roof. I know the feeling.
