It's moments like this that give credence to Peikoff's theory...

Joe
I expanded the scope, as I am wont to do.
The Bedfellows in question
are Yaron Brook and Beck, and the religious right and Objectivism in the battle against Obama, and the godless atheists/Christian capitalists.
Though I'm sure you knew that, and simply expanded the scope...
LOL
Yep, the two great fantasies that is the folly of humanity: God and Government.
Strange bedfellows? I never seen a couple before that had so much in common.
Ayns response to Becks BS
Xcowboy2 has posted this speech from Ayn Rand, in response to Glenn Becks's treason against reason.
Hope he notices and drops his adherence to that particular brand of idiocy he holds someday soon.
I'm with Joe
This Beck clip makes me sick (I didn't see it when it went to air). I was one of those excited that Glenn seemed to be warming to Brook; this God outburst, however, is a frontal assault on reason.
Now, from what I saw today, it's the God-fearing "Moms" who are going to save us. Galt save us!
When I fist saw that clip a few days ago
I deleted Glen Beck from my files.
Always gonna happen?
No, Ross, the exitement over Beck and Yaron was the potential for the opposite, that he might come around. Just months ago, the feeling was that Yaron was making a strong impression on him, and that Beck might have been "won over." But this seems like a fortifying of his religious beliefs. No thanks. (And after seeing negative reactions to Brook's speech at the tea parties by the religious, it just goes to show that the "alliance" can only go so far.)
I'm writing him off as a could-have been ally; may the the "authority of god" be with him.
Too righty Ross.
He's doing a stellar job with everything he's got!
Listen...
...Beck's a Mor-man, this was always gonna happen.
But, give him his due, he's put his hairy tabernaclised Morman balls in the vice for what is right.
Go, Beck!
