Rest assured that I'll certainly help out with the odd SOLO job as I have the time; that time will however be at more and more of a premium over the coming year.

I agree with what the way you characterise the creation of the new SOLO site Lindsay, and in fact that was one of the things that helped me reach this decision; I absolutely loved the whole atmosphere, & realised that kind of atmosphere (constantly striving, creating, achieving) was how I wanted my working life to be, and that it often wasn't.

Adam, thanks for the offer - and I'm sure you would be richly rewarded However, myself & my partner are in agreement that we want total, 100% ownership & control of our new venture which means, for the time being at least, using entirely our own capital. That may change in the future as our company grows, and I'll make certain you're the first to know if it does.

In view of your track record here, Duncan, I'll ask the obvious question:

As I said to you privately, you & Julian were heroes in the way you got a new SOLO site up & running in the wake of treachery. Actually, it was kinda fun. The frenetic three-way phone calls, e-mails, tests ... & then finally as the midnight hour came, to see this splendid new site go live & tick over as though nothing had happened! I've no way to express my thanks for that, or for the way you both have maintained & improved things since. I echo Julian in saying I hope you keep your hand in, & wish you all the best in your new venture. You're a talented fellow with a noble soul, & I'll miss you. But I know you won't forget to log on every day & chime in from time to time. And we still have you here for the month of April!
