KASS Music Gem of the Day: Fabulous Freddy!Submitted by Lindsay Perigo on Tue, 2010-06-29 06:36
Since the History of Italian Opera series is going down such a non-treat I shall suspend it for the moment in favour of the man *of* the moment, Fabulous Freddy himself:

Wow!
I did ask Freddy if he knew Stjepan. He didn't. I supplied a link to the Rach Cello Sonata that caused such controversy here. I have just heard from Freddy that he watched it and was "pretty mesmerized until the end. He was simply fabulous! Am very impressed."
Now to get them together!
Heh.
Heh.
Where is Jeff?
Still stuck on his broomstick?
I must ask Freddy ...
... if he knows Stjepan. Hahahaha! Just imagine those two doing the Rach cello stuff. And they could have a hair-flopping contest at the same time. We could have Mr. Perren be the judge. I'm sure he'd put aside his anal-retention for long enough to come back and oblige.
His articulation of each
His articulation of each phrase is, I'm sure, faithful to the score, yet uniquely individual to him. That draws you in and it is a complete world to itself. He's good alright.
