"I think breastfeeding really helped. Some people here think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, "Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?" the DailyMail reported.

"There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months," she added.

"Bündchen also acts as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme." - whattasurprise!

On a related note, I had a good chuckle at the implications behind a bus stop advert in Wellington promoting breastfeeding. Two women, one breastfeeding an infant, sitting in public.

The caption reads "Future Prime Minister in Training - Leading by Example"

Think about that for a second Laughing out loud

The English have a word for it: a mother does not "breastfeed" but suckles her infant.

"The brests of Hecuba When she did suckle Hector, look'd not lovelier Then Hectors forhead." Coriolanus, Act I Scene iii

What a sucker!
