Paul Henry—the Real Scandal!
Submitted by Lindsay Perigo on Tue, 2010-10-05 06:19
I've just now actually seen Paul Henry making his Governor-General comment to the PM:
Far more offensive than Henry's shallow silliness is the Prime Minister's "speech." The man has clearly been taking lessons in how to sound like a quacking Kiwi airhead, probably from his teenage offspring. He was never well-spoken, but he was never this bad, either. This is the truly scandalous part of this episode. The Governor-General's defenders think they're doing him a favour in insisting he's a true Kiwi. If that includes sounding like John Key, it's an insult.
The G-G should be very, very offended—but not by Paul Henry.
And the Prime Minister should be suspended without pay till he learns to speak.
