Not sure how i feel about this but I have a visceral dislike watching a government minister presiding over the destruction of a citizens private property.

I assume the process was supervised by some judicial officer (not actually certain about that, must read the act) and I have no doubt the miscreant warranted the action, but it is still confronting.

Don’t crush state assets!

..."cars today, nads tomorrow!"

He has committed a fourth driving offence since.

So it hasn't worked then, has it?

The vehicle in question was legally confiscated prior to its destruction. The Herald is mistaken when it says, "The car's owner was found guilty of driving while suspended, wheel-spinning and dangerous driving." What the Herald should have said is, "The car's previous owner was found guilty of driving while suspended, wheel-spinning and dangerous driving."

Never mind selling state assets. Just crush 'em.

You do say some silly things. Sticking out tongue
