The Geert Wilders Appreciation Thread
Submitted by Doug Bandler on Wed, 2013-01-02 00:32
There simply is no other man in the Western world that is as heroic in his challenge to Islam. Yes, Robert Spencer and Andrew Bostom are up there but Wilders is a politician that lives under both a death threat from Muslims and the hatred and attack of the European Left (who are trying to use "hate speech" laws to silence him, those laws which are the Leftist equivalent of Christian heresy laws).
Would Yaron Brook or any mainstream Objectivist ever describe Islam in such a way? No they wouldn't. Why? Because they would be afraid that they would be excusing Christianity and Conservativism and mainstream O'ism is obsessed with the view that there is an equal threat from both Left and Right. Lindsay has noted this in relation to the Brook/Watkins capitalism book.
We need an Objectivist Geert Wilders. Or a dozen of them.
This thread should serve as a nice collection of his interviews. His confidence and clarity are so refreshing in today's KASSless society.
